Remove Exhaust

WHAT AN AWFULL JOB!! The front and back part of the pipes were welded together!! Whose idea was that??

Welded pipes

After working on these pipes for maybe 90 minutes on the left and the right exhaust including moving back and forward underneath the car to pull and push the pipes they left each other after a long time being together. It looked like this

The pipes are gone (click the image)

Here they are

Pipes in garage

OK, after a few weeks of work (or was it months???) I got new parts, installed all the rear suspension components and the last things missing were the pipes

Parts for pipes

As I have discovered over time I realized that the car was missing quite a few original parts. Like the heat riser valve. I do not know if it is useless but I got it and installed it, have a look

Also simple parts like the pipe flange had to be replaced

I must admitt, there is not too much to say about installing the pipes. So, here they are back on the car
(recognize the nicely repainted oilpan and the new oil filter :-) )
