Work |

My plan WAS to buy a Corvette, drive it, wash it, get oil changes and new tires from time to time. BUT, as I have realized just after buying the car, I cannot just DRIVE the car, I have to WORK on the car. The car is not too complicated, it is possible to buy every part, there are many books around, clubs, great web sites, youtube videos and last but not least I originally became an aircraft mechanic and I am still very interested in mechanics. |

My idea is to start easy, get more complicated after. Therefore I started very easy by just buying some parts for an interior update. That was really easy. Well, maybe too easy. I bought the wrong carpet. My car was originally delivered to the owner with the deluxe interior. The deluxe interior was shipped with a cut pile carpet, I ordered loop carpet. Too bad. But Corvette America that sold sold the carpet to me is very used to fools like me and exchanged the carpet. |
